What does catching crawfish in a stream have to do with water quality? What are aquatic macroinvertebrates and why should I care about them? Throughout this week we will develop skills of observation, critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and creativity as we explore real and virtual aquatic ecosystems, learn about our local watersheds, catch and identify aquatic macroinvertebrates, and investigate the influence of human activity on the water quality right here at TDS. Be prepared for some wet and wild days!
Participants must be 10 years to 13 years old when the program starts.
Minimum: 4
